I know this is old and dead, but there is now aftermarket companies that have pirated this software and duplicated the cable. Its now for sale on Amazon.com If I bought it ($30) and turned my DRL's off with it, I'd then like to sell it on here for maybe $10 to help someone else do the same... In the spirit of helping others, I'd like to see this equipment be circulated through this forum and anyone else you may know that could benefit from it. Anybody want it after I turn my DRL's off?

My service rep told me come in on Saturday to disable after manager said it's illegal. when no bosses around had tech come outside done in 2 minutes! Gave tech $10 for lunch not bad.
Thanks. Do you know where we can get this program? The BMW program I have downloaded is available online throughout various forums and you need a $100 cable for it to work. The other downside is that its in German but the things you can do with it are amazing.
Ebay has this software work same thing as OEM but you couldn't connect to Toyota server.

Man I need this done!!! Any way you live in CA and can help me?
Recently I had access to a Toyota TIS Techstream computer. I took the opportunity to disable my DRLs instead of going to the dealer and having to explain to them and/or have to pay to have this done. I have read on this forum that some dealers tell people that it can't be done. Well, here is the proof and what you can show them if they don't know where to find the settings. It took only a few minutes and it was done. I hope this may help some of you:
Hi,
I have been looking the answer for this one. What version did you use? I don't see "light control" on my version?
Thanks

It's in the custom settings panel. Basically all the things the owner can have changed are in there. Look in your owners manual.
Personally I find that disabling the door lock from park to drive and drive to park very beneficial. As well as setting the lights to instant off when the door opens... I left the DRL swish on as it is brighter than earlier incandescent versions of DRL in earlier models.
