What are you trying to take it off of? If it's paint, which I'm assuming it isn't, you need to be real careful.
If it's off plastic, I'd try something gentle first, like Goo Gone, or ispropyl alcohol. If that doesn't work, I would guess some sort of paint thinner could take it off. You could also try a razor blade depending on the surface underneath.
Just make sure you start with the gentlest thing you can think of first and then go more aggressive. You can't go the other way

Get some Goo-Gone, you can get it at Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, etc.
Try and get the spray version.
The way i got the 3M Extra Strength tape off paint was to spray the tape with goo-gone, leave it for ~ 5 mins, then use the soft side of a sponge and pressure from my fingers to "scrape" it away. Then i washed the areas where the goo-gone touched. No issues for me. Don't reapply tape till the next day when it totally dry.

I waited for it to dry to be on the safe side, but im sure just washing it and then using a blow dryer would work. I was in no rush so waiting a day didn't hurt lol
