I have a forgestar f14 wheel that keeps losing psi around 15-20 psi every 2 days. Someone told me it could be bent or cracked on the inside. I took it to a wheel shop and they couldnt find anything wrong with the wheel and they told me it could be the weight of the car which the wheel can't handle? All my other 3 wheels are fine. In fact they have had the wheel for 2 days now and it didn't lose any psi, could be just the fact that it loses psi when on my car?
What do you guys think the problem is and is there a possible fix?
they did a water test, couldn't find anything. I asked him if he thought it was bent or anything, but the wheel shop said they checked everything and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the car.
He did tell me that the wheel might not be able to support the weight of my car that is why it's leaking. But ive never heard of that before.
If it happen with the old and new tire then the rim has a crack somewhere. Even if you see it doesn't mean it not there. Make sure there not bent/dent also.
You should be able to look at the rim and see a bend I would think. Vavle stem sounds like a good culprit. When is the last time they were dismounted from tires?

About a week ago when I put the new tires on. The guy at the alignment place there was a gash on the rim and on the old tires he dismounted he showed me the ripped bead. Yet this wheel shop I brought the rim to said there was nothing wrong with the rim? I will have to give them a call again.
A faulty valve stem would be the culprit for this?
Could it be that the TPMS sensor in that tire/wheel is faulty? Would it make my tires lose psi like that?
Well, think about it. It's a wheel/tire combo so if it ain't the tire, it has to be something to do with the rim. If there isn't a crack, what else can cause a leak? A faulty stem probably won't cause a leak but one that's not properly sealed/mounted can, in ur case it seems like it'll only leak when weight is on the wheel which is hard to simulate. There isn't much u can look at when it comes to a wheel/tire combo fault, best of luck to u tho and keep us posted.
