Default Help identifying 19" Forged Wheels?

Hey everyone! This is my first time posting on this forum. I bought my 2010 is250 RWD back in July of 2010, and am going to start doing some F Sport mods to it. I bought my is250 off of the show room floor. It came with aftermarket 19" forged wheels on it. My problem is that I just had it serviced, and they made a 1" gash in my front and rear left side rims (car wash or by tire rotation). I pointed the damage out, and I got "in writing" their promise to replace or repair them. I searched, but can not seem to find and identify the wheels on my ride. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you pull off a rim there should be some sort of manufacturer info on the inside. Do the center caps say anything on them?

If they're not forged wheels, then Arrowhead Lexus and I have a legal issue! I have no way of pulling off the rim at home, so I cannot go that route to identify. There is no identifying mark on the cap. Here is a close-up photo of the gouge out of the side of one of the wheels. They certainly don't appear to be cheap non-forged wheels, but I have no educated knowledge of wheels. There seems to be copper in the wheel gouge?? Thanks again for any help!

Sounds like the dealership owes you a new set of Lexus wheels if that could be the alternative.

the dealer has to have documentation under the stock # of the car. Call up service and ask them to pull up the info.

I agree. Doesn't look forged. Did you try checking around the rim for any brand markings?

Can't quite tell from the pic but since it is a bit blurry.

Looks like something like this to me. Is this what you have?

Yeah. The service manager was supposed to look up the info for me today and get back to me, but I never heard back. I guess I'll find out tomorrow

Some 19" F Sport wheels would suite me just fine; or a new set of wheels of equal value to what I paid. I have the law on my side on this one at least. I'm glad I did the "once over" on the car before I left, and kept all paperwork stating the wheels "value".

I'm really curious as to who makes them? And, what's the true value of them compared to what I paid. A little late to ask that question; but live and learn I guess...

Honesty I'm have to say there some cheap rims. I think they got you good on that price. For what you paid coulda got ssr, weds, volk, or works that look way better.

Looks like something like this to me. Is this what you have?

The main difference in the wheels I have, is that every other spoke is about 1/2" wider in the spoke area.

Yep. No markings. If they're not forged, at least I have documentation from them stating that they are "forged wheels".

I'm going to go out to the garage and take a better picture of the rim now, and will post it in a minute.

If they give you a new set of F-Sport Wheels for the damage, I would take it and run

Nothings wrong with honesty. If so, shame on me. At least I have documentation from them stating they're "forged".

They don't looked forged. They look like a chrome 19" wheel. What I think would be a fair compromise would be to get paid 1/2 the cost since it's only two damaged wheels. I would take 2 F Sport or IS F wheels if I were you. The other option is to have the wheel repaired and re chromed. About $200 a wheel. Good luck!
