Default Post Valve Spring Replacement Question

I had my car in shop to fix Valve Spring 2 months ago(hadn't broke, just took it because I got a letter). Since then it seems like the car revs high sometimes when at lights and such. Like if I don't hold the break hard enough it will try to move a bit. I sit at about 1k RPMs and sometimes up to 1.5k. Is this just because of cold weather or possibly even bad breaks?

Or is it just placebo and I was used to breaks on the ES350 I drove for a few days.

Thanks!

Its cause it not warmed up yet. Drive for a few minutes and it will idle under 1k. That goes with any cars on cold start.

i thought that i was the only one experiencing this...sometimes it takes about 5 minutes before the rpms drop back down to normal! glad to know that it is not 'abnormal', but in all honesty it is quite annoying to have to have to apply more pressure on the brake pedal and watching the tach creep up to 1k at stoplights!

Thanks guys!

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't unusual. I figured it had to do with the cold since it happened around that time but yeah.

I haven't gotten the recall done yet but even now when I start my car for the first time it will stay up around 1500-2000rpm until after it warms up. I wouldn't worry about it

Yep, mine does that too until it warms up..and I have to make sure I apply enough pressure on the brake when I stop or I will jerk forward..kind of annoying, but oh well what can you do!
