Best grille mod
Plast-dipped (09+)

White vinyl (slightly mismatched)

I currently have the vinyl on now...in direct light, it is noticeably mismatched at close distances

best stock grill mod on a SP car, honestly??? no plasti dip for one, paint the stock grill gloss black and leave the L chrome, put it back on the car and go from there to see if you want to paint the the trim...

3M makes a higher quality dry carbon fibre vinyl. Not the stuff from pep boys. It's not real CF, but it looks pretty slick when done well. I can't remember who it was, but they did their whole car in this stuff lol. Give me 10, I'll go take a pic for you.
chrome

vinyl

the vinyl is a bluish hued gloss white. color to color, it kind of matches...but in direct sunlight, it looks a bit off bc the vinyl is gloss and the paint is metallic flake...almost as if someone forgot to put the last coat of metallic flake on the grille. it is only noticeable on the upper-corner flares of the grille where it meets the bumper flush. otherwise, the rest of the 09+ grille surround has so many angles and contortions that the mismatch is not noticeable. so if you are looking for imperfections in the matching, you would immediately draw attention to the two off-colored "V"s on the upper sides of the grille.
(do a comparo to the pic above and below, and youll see what i mean)

I'd say "color matched" bezel.
