No, because you can't fold the rear seats down.

^ Me too, but it's apparently designed that way for safety.

Not having the seats fold down adds quite a bit of rigidity back there.

Have a hard time believing that one.........
Funny how every other leading manufacturer can build a safe car with fold down seats, but not Lexus....

Cost cutting is about the only reason that actually makes sense for this annoying flaw...

Cost cutting: I kind of doubt it. Even Yaris has fold down seats. Most Toyotas do. The Lexus IS, GS, and even the LS do not have folding rear seats. Even the Lexus ES, which shares the chassis with the Camry, does not have rear folding seats. The Camry does. What does the ES have instead? Sound insulation.

Take the old Corolla for example (2003-2008) they all had fold down seats, except the XRS, which did not. Toyota added bracing to stiffen the chassis and dropped the fold down seats.

I'm not sure I buy the safety angle, but increased chassis rigidity and noise reduction are the only things that makes sense to me.
