Dumb question--does the IS with the luxury package have a car alarm? The button on the nav console says security. However what does it do?

If I leave the window rolled down, lock the door. Put they key far away and then try to unlock the door--it simply opens... no alarm, no lights, no noise...am i missing something or is it turned off or what?

How can I reset the alarm?

 

How are you "unlocking" the door?

 

it should go off if door is open but will not go off if window broken witch is werid, thats what dealer told me

 

Figured it out, it takes a few secs to arm. Nowijust need to figure out how to add a shock sensor
