It shouldn't matter anyways. The dealer where you purchased your car would be glad to service your car because you bought it from them. The other dealers would be even happier because you're bringing them the service income.
I'm close to four different Lexus dealers. The one I use most is the one that offers me best pricing and best level of service.

Same with me bought my SC430 in Bonita Springs and take it to Lexus of Tampa Bay...never have had it treated different than my IS250 which I did buy from them.

Never had the dealership perform services on my car except recalls. I try to do as much as I can with what tools I have and whatever I can't I take to LMS in Monrovia.

I bought my Lexus in FL and have had nothing but great service at the dealership in NOVA. I would think that with Lexus customer service you would not have issues like this but if you did a call to corporate would fix the issue.
