Default Iphone / usb

I just picked up a 2011 IS350. I like to listen to internet radio stations on my Iphone. Can I plug the phone into the USB port and listen to the music through the stereo? If so, how?

Not sure if you can do that, you might be able to, but I think the Bluetooth Audio feature may also be able to do it. I use it to listen to the songs on my iPhone, and I know other phone sounds come through as well.

No you cannot. You will have to use the bluetooth A2DP or plug in the aux.

You can do it by streaming over Bluetooth. I do that to listen to Pandora, works perfect and charges the phone from the USB.

Use the voice command to connect the iPhone or iPod as a blue tooth audio player. After it has established a connection, press the AUX button until it is on BT-A, which is for Bluetooth audio.

When establishing a connection, you have the option to connect from the car or the device. Connecting from the device didnt work me, but it worked fine when I chose connect from car.

I don't remember all the commands but it think it was:

Press Talk button
Say setup
Say Bluetooth audio setup
Make connection

Hopefully that gets you far enough. The computer will tell you what the available commands are at each step. You can always say help after pressing the talk button and hear what the available commands are.

You can't.

This only works on 6th gen nav systems (2010 or newer)
