Question bout NAV/AUDIO ---- STANDBY FEATURE/REBOOT??

Question bout NAV/AUDIO ---- STANDBY FEATURE/REBOOT??
Hopefully a member that's a lexus service tech or someone else with first-hand experience will be able to help me on this one.
Background: my car sometimes goes a month or two without being started
Before you tell me: yes I'm fully aware that that's not good to do
Issue: when started after said month or two, nav display shows what looks to be reboot sequence.......think Microsoft hibernation
It will display something along the lines of "updating....do not turn off power" and IIRC there's a progress bar
Question: has anyone else seen this before, and is it a normal thing. Does our nav unit have a standby/hibernation feature??
EDIT: forgot to say car is a 2010 vert so it has the HDD nav
