Default Lost fod

I have definitely lost my key fob but my car still starts and drives I have check my car and trunk for the key and is no where to be found. Is there a possibility that there is a glitch and the key is not in my car. Kinda scary cause I cant lock and what if someone just gets in a drives away.... what should i do

have you tried in the cracks in between the center console and seats? maybe in the sliding part of the console or even the cup holder. if the car still starts and drives, then it should still be in the vicinity of the car. or, maybe in your pocket and not realize it? sometimes that happens to me.

I think the chances of the key simply being hidden somewhere in your car or on your person are infinitely greater than there being a glitch. Keep looking. I've lost stuff underneath and to the sides of the seats before, make sure to check there.

1. Enter car in under wear to make sure key fob is not on your person or any cracks.

2. look in all the tiny cracks and crevices where you'd think the fob would be. Most likely checking which ever pocket you usually put it in.

3. Remove drivers seat. You'll be surprised what you'll find in and around your seat.

Based on the car starting and will not lock, the key fob is inside the car or on your person. End of discussion.
