I have the similar problem. I contacted the dealership and they said they wouldn't be able to fix it since the whole gauge assembly would need to be removed. Not sure how many others have the same problem?

He has an 06, virtually all 06s are outside of the normal factory warranty period at this point.

and I'm at 97k miles :P

I can adjust the cluster light setting, and the tip of the needle will flicker on and off. The base of the needle is dead though

My tach and speedo are doing this. It's been getting worse for a while, just haven't taken it in. I got my 06 CPO, so hopefully they will cover it. I haven't been to impressed with the warranty coverage so far though.

My 06 IS250 is also suffering from this same problem! I have been considering buying a used one but if I do swap it out it will be for a IS-F Cluster.

Does any one know if the IS-F Cluster just plugs up?? any info would be great thanks!

Isn't it a bunch of little teeny led's that have to be soldered? I don't know why that's popping into my mind....
