I just want to be fair, i mean for the tires , what kind that they gave, it dont matter , like different brand usually, but for tires size supposed to be the same cause ita suppossed 245 , not 225, especially cause 3.5 liter engine , more bigger , i think that is a reason why lexus give wider tires for the rear one, for the weather , i dont think its a big deal , like upper north in the states have the same weather like in canada too. So i think thats not the reason.

I hope that's not your actual letter/email to Lexus, that level of English is quite bad honestly. They were probably thinking what the heck you do to buy a 80k CND car.

But anyways, Lexus Canada is always different, had been and will always be. Just like Lexus USA is different than Lexus in Japan... should of done more research.

Plus, tires and rims, that's chump change, shouldn't be that worked up about it... it's not like Lexus targeted you out of the entire Canada.

Respect and professionalism is a two way street, don't book an appointment you weren't going to keep. You wasted their time as much as they are wasting yours. Plus, front lip goes on in 20 mins, I did mine myself in my driveway.

BUT... I will tell you that Lexus in Canada is generally worse off than USA. I've had experienced Lexus of Ottawa back in 99, being the only Lexus dealer in the city, they told me if I don't like the price I can go away haha... those arrogant people.

They have a business too. And their other customers all have lives and businesses as well. So once you missed your appointment you were out of luck until their next open spot. It'd hardly be fair to bump someone elses made appointment because you were too busy to show up for yours.

I've certainly heard a lot of valid complaints about Lexus dealers in Canada, but making you wait for their next opening to get a cosmetic part installed after you missed a scheduled appointment to do so isn't one of them.

I don't know. I think they should have dropped everything they were doing and rolled out the red carpet for the OP. He is probably more important than anyone else who was at the dealership, or at least more angry.

My friend who runs a business tells me that if the person does a no show for their appt, then that sacrifices the time from the shop as well the person assigned to the project. In other words, that's an hour that her employee will not be taking care of other customers who need work done. An hour that she has to pay them to do 'nothing', since the jobs were assigned by APPOINTMENT.

So who really lost out here?

to micaiah : i guess if i miss the appt, i dont think the guy will not do nothing and charging it for nothing, they will fill it with other project . im also running a business too.

Yes, they filled your missed appointment time by doing other work since you didn't show up on time, which is why they were busy when you finally did show up.

Your original other thread was merged with this one by the site administrator and he said so in this thread. Your new thread on the same topic will likely also be merged or perhaps deleted.

I like the number 95%.
