Default New Wheels and exhaust.

I took a quick picture with my phone to show you guys the wheels and will be taking better ones within the next week..

But the real reason I am starting this thread is because I have a question about my exhaust which I have attached a video of. It is the Megan Axle back with a custom mid pipe I had made at a local muffler shop. I want to get your thoughts as to the sound of the system. In my opinion the rasp is a bit high pitched for my tastes. Is there anything I can do to create a deeper tone?

Secondary cats and resonator have been removed.

Will a high flow resonator solve my issue or do you think it sounds good as is and I should leave it alone. Since the video was taken I have added a Fujita intake which gives the engine a much deeper growl and somewhat cancels out the rasp. I'll try to get a video of the intake/exhaust sound up.

If anyone was wondering about the wheels they are Giovanna G Racing rims, Tokyo model. 20X8.5 et35 235/30/20 and 20X9.5 et38.5 275/30/20.

Exhaust sound isnt bad, i kinda like it. But i hear the high pitch youre talking about, not sure if there's an easy correction to get it deeper.

Rims look good, never seen them on CL before.

Last thing you want with your exhaust setup is tanabe. Tanabe is indeed deep as an Axle-Back alone. But when anything is done further to the rest of the exhaust, its a rasp party.

Which megan exhaust do you have?

It's the megan drift spec. Im wondering if the midpipe has anything to do with it? Any resonator options I can go with. On a good note, the intake does adds quite a bit of interior sound.

Throw the stock resonator back on and it will sound much better. For best results with that axle back, get an invidia midpipe.

^ +1 for the Invidia midpipes. Here are some video clips of my F-Sport Intake/Exhaust + Invidia midpipe setup: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...a-midpipe.html

The Invidia made the setup deeper and MUCH louder. Only real negative (assuming you like loud and deep) is freeway drone.

I have had this set up as well, but I assure you, if you add the Invidia mid-pipe to you're drift spec, it will sound nothing like that^. It will not be as loud, but will be much deeper pitched.

The drone is more pronounced then with the Invidia+F-Sport combo at speed limit.
