LOL! Entertaining, but hardly accurate. The IS's core demographic is the weaker 250 model. And the base IS has way less torque than the base A4. Not to mention, last time I drove one, the A4 handled better than the IS around corners.
Oh well, at least they are trying to spark some liveliness. Still give it thumbs up.
Was this filmed at the Sepulveda Dam?

I CAN'T STOP WATCHING THIS!

first i played it on standard definition
then played it on 1080P in that tiny embedded box
then played it again on the 1080P enlarged box from the youtube site
then played it again on 1080P full screen

and i'm gonna play it again after i post this reply

wow.. very bold to stand against the three big euro's like that
mercedes, audi, and bmw probably won't do anything in their commercials to talk back tho
they're probably like.. shut up japanese car, you're one level down
(unlike how audi and bmw always have rival ads)

but seriously.. wow
i've always thought of it that way as well.. lexus are nice, but still a japanese car, it'll never really be able to steal the market of audi, bmw, and mercedes
but seems like they are placing themselves directly in the same market now, forcing the euros to pay attention to them now

and yes, that made me proud too!

If Toyota wanted they could build another I6 3.0TT. And kill all the competitors once again

Completely irrelevant remark. First off most automakers promote the best model in the lineup. For instance the Camaro SS is advertised at 400+ hp when the V6 version doesn't come anywhere near that. Not to mention the V6 version is the best seller over the SS. I say commercial after commercial every day of the week talking about how much horsepower the car has and how quick it does 0-60 and it then gives a starting price that seems very reasonable for the all options and feats they just listed off. Then you read the fine print at the bottom and it says price as shown, which is about $10k+ from the starting price they mentioned in the commericial.

You can definitely drift an auto without handbrakes by using the "Scandinavia Flick". Or some people just say "flick" it... it involves timing and downshifting.

That was an awesome commercial!
