Default 2011 LED Headlamp kit @ Sewell

I just saw that Sewell is carrying the new LED Headlamps! But sadly there only good for 2009 and Up IS's. the price for them are 3+K! But if anyone knows of how to add them to a 2007, let know ASAP.

3+K??!??

Now I know why there's LED tears puddling up at the bottom of those 2011 eyes.

Pretty sure the reason why they're 09+ is that the 09+ harnesses are smaller than previous years.

You can make them yourself if you're really ambitious. I made my own for my Yamaha R6. Cost around $100 by the time I was done everything. And they actually look good.

^^ Or a nice set of wheels. Actually pretty much anything for $3g would be better spent.

I like the new headlight black out housing, but the LED not that bright in the day light compare to Audi, and the Tail Lights not my taste, because they are light pink on the clear, you guy have to check out in person, and see what I am talking about.

The LEDS are definitely bright, I've seen everyday for the past 2 days and I thought they boarder lined too bright. I do know what you're talking about with the tail lights though, it looks almost like a faint pink.

Yikes! I was thinking $2k plus for the new headlights, at most. I wonder if ANYONE will pull the trigger at this crazy price point.

For 3K I can think of a lot of things I can do to my IS than just a similar set of headlight that I have now with only difference is LEDs on the turns to make me justify the 3K price tag....

I say wait some time, some company will come out with better alternative that which can be incorporated in the IS headlights with little mods needed to fit.

^ It's fairly easy to just put custom LEDs inside your OEM headlamps, and you can keep your AFS too! Only downside is that it's of course not OEM and probably wouldn't be as integrated.
