I just did my outer grill (silver part) last week and matches my Obsidian black PERFECTLY! Ill post pics up sometime, did about 5 coats with 10-15 minutes in between coats and worked out well.
What annoyed me most about taking off the grill was putting the rubber trim back into those tiny hooks.
My question for Iceman5210, how'd you go about masking off the side silver trim on the car? I'm doing this soon and don't know a good way of masking off the trim.

I waited 20 - 30 minutes between each coats and applied 3 coats. So far, it's holding up well on my trunk badges. If you gonna do the front grill, you should add an extra coat or 2 just in case.
You have to be patient when you peeling. Prepare to use the razor to make some slices if it starts to pull on the part you want to stay.
Good luck

Hey guys, Im planning to do this TOMORROW (today)!! But I need your final advice.
The weather forecast shows 50 degrees F and showers (in NorCal). Therefore I'm planning to do this in my garage w/ garage door closed (may open a side door for ventilation). I will keep the can of plastidip in warm water if it's too cold. Ok...given these conditions, how long do I need to wait between coats and the final peel?
Everyone says 15 minutes or 30 minutes etc is good, but I imagie that's for higher temperatures. Any issues you see with my plan? I want to experience the magic! Thanks.

As you can see, I messed up the battery emblem on the bottom right but peeled it right off and fixed it.
