My wife just got a used 2007 IS-250 AWD with the automatic and paddle shifters. We have become a two Lexus family! It is in excellent shape and the interior still looks brand new. Those of you with the 2007 model, have you found the car to be very reliable like a typical Lexus?

i have problems...

1. when i drive ppl stare at my car instead of watching the road, this makes me very nervous~.

2. i have to sit up straight in the seat (no gangsta lean) so i can keep an eye on the road for potholes and inattentive drivers (#1).

3. when i park i have to find the FARTHEST stall from where i need to go to avoid dings.

4. (is350 problem) its way too easy to exceed the speed limit without even trying.

5. it has made me very OCD about how i look whenever i drive the car so i MUST clean her EVERYTIME she leaves the garage and returns to the garage. course i dress like a bum in faded shorts and 10-15yr old faded/holed tshirts.

6. i must buy xpensive oil (royal purple) and boutique polish/wax/cleaners for her. this stuff adds up $$$

I still drive in a gangsta lean, co-sign on the ding prevention,

It sounds like we have a happy crowd in the IS world. I have to say I think the IS is one of the best Lexus designs ever. My wife drove a BMW 128, Mini Cooper S Hardtop, and an infiniti G35X but she said she just liked the looks and feel of the IS better. We have the 2010 RX-350 and she loves that as well.

Welcome! Sounds like a nice catch! You won't have problems with any Lexus, so no worries.
Ah yes... when my dad gets into my car the first thing he always says, "how can you drive with the seat so far back?"
