Javier actually uses the Fly Audio nav system - adding a front camera to the OEM navigation would be a lot more involved because, AFAIK, it doesn't have extra video inputs.

I understand what the OP is saying and he should probably just leave it stock height. I don't think it's worth it for him to spend a big chunk of his budget (probably a third or more) on a .5-1 inch drop that no one will really notice. Everyone is just going to say lower it more anyway.

Thanks everyone... nice comments and suggestions.

@ brociouz - I'm after the luxury sports sedan look and feel. Right now, the interior is great so nothing more needs to be done. But the exterior needs some help to look like a sedan and sounds like a sedan. A Camry parked next to me and I could've freakin sworn we have the same exhausts....maybe it's time to check part no. on both.

I like option 1 because it has the nice sporty sound without being too loud and it has a nice look to it. But draw back is that it cuts down my other mods big time.

I like option 2 because I can get alot down but it's very subtle. Kind of like building a sleeper.

I checked Classified... most of the stuff I want has been sold. Craigslist has some IS350 OEM intake and exhausts, but no performance parts.

Buy that used Tanabe from the bay area in the classifieds for $450. Buy my Injen intake for $125 and you'll have a bunch of money left over for the little stuff like bulbl that Brociouz will install for free! Nairb had a lot of good suggestions for the small stuff.

I'd get a GFX kit and a spoiler.
I agree, my car was pretty much stock with GFX kit, and it looked pretty.

Keep in mind he has a 2010, the GFX front lip is still $600 or so isn't it?

Avoid getting HID's. I used to work in Lexus Service, and the weather seal's arn't amazing and a lot of IS's came in with foggy headlights do to moisture leaks. All the customers that had after market ANYTHING didn't get their headlight fixed under warranty. & those headlights are very expensive.

Thanks for the heads up on the Tanabe... sounds like a VERY sweet deal.

I just need to dig up the sound clips and see if it's loud but not too loud.

I remember the sound range as

(quitest)Stock -Tanabe - F-Sport - HKS (loudest)

Is this correct? Also, is this smog legal in CA?

Yes, the sound order is correct. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure axle back exhausts don't change emissions, so it's fine. The F-Sport exhaust isn't even technically CARB certified.

You're allowed? lol

I'd lower it anyway, something like H&R or even swift, and get oem is350 18's. You could even get stock is350 sport suspension, which i think is a tiny bit lower. The 250's ride like 4x4's. LMK if you want my stock suspension

@ Jarred - I smell blackmail material.

The technical term is CARB exempt. Otherwise, it will have a decal or etching of CARB Approval and serial number on the part. I know some Injen intakes has this to show the cops when you get pulled over.

Axel back exhausts are CARB exempt which should be legal in 50 states as mentioned on Lexus F-Sport's website.
