Option #2... Check classifieds, you may see a few great deals. The sway bars make driving the car much more fun.

I vote for option 2. I have all three and I love them. I have MTEC HIDs for both fogs and lows. Very cool.

Paul, I highly recommend you buy good condition, used parts. You'll save a LOT of money.

What exactly are you going for? Looks, sound, handling? I gave you a recommended list in a different thread, but if you let me know exactly what you're trying to accomplish maybe I can help more. I think red outs are a no brainer though, might as well go ahead and order them. http://aerotect.net/catalog/product_...7a6d3711b95986

$1000?

$400 for F-sport sway bars
$400 for a used Tanabe exhaust
$125 for a new Joe Z intake

That's $925. Maybe $450 if you have to get the used exhaust shipped to you.

The other $25-75 can go to some pizza/beer for the buddy that'll give you a hand on install since all 3 are quite easy to do yourself or with a friend helping.

I'm thinking tints are one of the best mods you can do for visual impact. A front lip would be great, but the '09+ stuff is expensive, so he might want to wait it out on that.

Yep. Tinted windows not only look cool but that ARE cool (in a temp sense). Helps save the interior.

This is my car bone stock, with only tints. Pretty big difference IMO:

I'd say consider lowering it. It is the best visual mod possible. Just don't go too low so the wifey doesn't scrape on driveways. If you have OEM navi, do the front camera mod javylsu has, so you won't have to worry about hitting the curb.

i agree with most everyone..but if you're not taking it to the track or riding it hard, a lot of those things would be pointless. i'd start with things like hid's, tint, led's (interior, exterior), trunk spoiler, front lip, then intake or coilovers. just my 2 cents..
