I like the color of the BWB as its not a color i see everyday. The contrast in the interior is nice looking and different.

I'll post pics of the interior and the car itself tomorrow

 

Avoid eating/drinking/animals in the car and with some normal maintenance, you'll be fine.
For the record, I think Lexus went with black carpets with the beige interior starting in 2009.
I have all black and it's pretty simple to keep clean. I don't find it too hot in the summer either, but I agree it's a little played out now. If Lexus offered a brown or red interior option like Audi/BMW, I'd be all over that. Times and styles have changed and that's where the newer trends are.

Sterling is Lexus' name for grey. The newer cars have black on the seatbacks. Keep an eye on the seatbacks if people wear shoes in your car.

 

+1 for contrast. The interior lines in the 2is are beautiful, but don't really show up in all black.

 

Agreed, that has been my experience with gray on 07 IS350. Looks like new.
