Default LED Headlights

K I see some claimed 2011 ISF pictures and it looks like theres some LED lights on the headlight (audi style) and I was wondering if anyone knew if this was confirmed that lexus is now using that style of headlight. If so anyone got a picture of a Lexus with the lights actually turned on.

I really hope they dont start implementing that style of headlight in their cars because I hate when car makers copy eachother. IMO i think it only looks good on audis.

Im pretty sure this isnt even an ISF because it doesnt have the ISF hood

That is the new IS F-Sport package. And yes, all 2011 IS will get these headlights. The LS also has them...

I think its cool, they did it in their own style, and is not a direct copy of audi or the other cars that use them.

I agree that LED DRLs should only stay on Audis. Same way that "angel eyes" should only be seen on BMWs. It's their trademark. But with technology developing so quickly, I'm sure all vehicle manufacturers will implement LED headlights into their line-up from low to high end models. Just like how the Corollas have push-start technology.

Very True, Look at Mercedes, they are using them on the S and E class, Ranch Rovers and Porsche are also doing it.

as stated earlier, its the IS 250 F-sport, not the IS F, despite it being shown here with USB. USB was the color that shouldve been exclusive for the F, but it was added to the upcoming MY for the F-sport models. as far as the audi-like headlight style, personally i didnt see anything wrong with the previous models headlights. the addition is subtle enough, as its on the edge of the headlight as opposed to audi's, which have them in a more shapely form.

I like the LEDs on the IS. I tried something like this but it didnt come out the same lol. Many car companies copy each other but they do their own twist to it.

I'm torn about how they look. Kinda looks like the headlight is tearing up and about to cry.

I think Mercedes does it right, esp on the S class

and the fact that the LEDs in the headlamp housing turn yellow when the turn signal is activated is a bonus

I think they look very clean on the IS. Well executed.

The LED on that LS arnt even white, just looks like a very dull yellow. I really hope the ones coming in 2011 are actually bright white.
