Unclip the top of the air box from the lower part. I think there are 4 clips. Lift airbox enough to remove filter element. Insert new filter element and replace top of airbox. Maneuver box so that it sits flush with element and lower air box. Snap close clips.

If you like to drop some coin, go for the Tom's. It will give exactly the same result as all the other filter elements out there (HKS, K&N, Blitz, FSport, etc).

lol...

changing out the air filter is the easiest thing to do in any car.

1) open hood

2) pop off black covers(anybody with a competent brain can do it)

3) look for that big black square box attached to a black long tube, look for the metal clips that keep the box closed. unclip them and open the box.

4) remove dirty filter and replace with new filter. close box tightly, snap back the clips. put the plastic covers back on and youre done!

I only use toyota oem fiters.
