I've tried to replace my oem puddle lights for the vled ones, but im having a harder time inserting my philips screwdriver into the screw because my mirror won't go down any further. i saw some pics for diy on 06-08 models and it seemed pretty easy, but is there a chance that the 09+ could be a tad different? can anyone help?

^ its exactly the same. Just remove the lower screw, you dont need to remove the top and pull back the bottom piece of the plastic under the blinker. pop out the plastic piece under, then follow the diy guide for 06-08
