well the car was in park and all of a sudden the temp rose so I took off the A/C and the temp went back to normal. So I turned the a/c back on and it rose again.

Fort Lauderdale. Well I let her sit for a while and after another test drive I had no problems with the a/c making the temp rise. Could it be the Temp gauge because why wouldn't the car be overheating if the temp rises so much? Thanks for your help man.

could be the radiator fan not working if the vehicle was in park, then there is no ram air to pass through the radiator so the fan would turn on and off automatically. Test again with the hood open and watch for the fan.

I did check the fan on the test drive after and it was on so it could be possible, If it happens again that will be the first thing i check for. I'm not sure its the compressor or not but because the air was blowing cold while the temp rose.

Usually when a car overheats the A/C will not cool correctly.

I would take your car to JM.. They will help you figure this problem out. Is it still under warranty?
