Default WALD owners please help

I was wondering if i need the oem lip(non gfx) for the wald to sit on top of for correct installation. Im currently using gfx front and will be going to wald front in the next two weeks...i sold my oem lip but have a spare other color...do i need to reinstal that then put wald on top of it? thanks in advance.

You're supposed to install Five Axis over the OEM lip, but I heard someone was able to do it without the OEM underneath.

Do you have to drill to install the Wald front lip?

the wald front lip is like any other lip out there. you dont need the oem lip, you don't need to drill for any front lip for the 2IS. it goes on using some of the oem holes and double sided tape. that's it. i mean you can drill if you want, but if you ever trade in or wanna switch, you might find yourself with a problem.

In order to use the OEM holes you'd need to remove the OEM lip though right?

^ Yeah, it would seem pretty obvious to me, but then how are people installing it on top of the OEM lip? Drilling new holes?

mine is on just fine without the oem front lip. held on with 3m and custom brackets that bolt right into the front wheel extension pads (mini mud flap looking parts). honestly, dont even need the brackets, just feel safer with them.
