Default illuminated controls question

Disappointed to see the wiper and headlight controls are not illuminated.
Question: Anyone know if upper model Lexus came with lit levers? Perhaps a upgrade consideration?

thanks
Vince

Yeah I hated that too when I had my 06 sedan.

The 07-up models are illuminated......I think someone on here did a swap awhile ago????? (can't remember)

But, I will tell you that it will require a whole new button assembly because the 06 buttons were on top one another, and the 07-up ones are next to each other (hope that makes sense)

Headlight and wiper controls are on the stalks coming off of the steering column. They are not illuminated in my '07. I don't think I've EVER seen a car with illuminated controls on the stalks coming off the steering column.

Question for illuminated controls, are the side mirror buttons/adjuster illuminated? I've noticed mine don't illuminate like the window buttons.

Why does it need to be illuminated? Just set both the wipers and headlights on auto and you don't have to worry about touching them.

I don't have auto-wipers, but do you really need the wipe control arm illuminated to know how to turn the wipers on? Just pull the arm down to the wiper speed notch you need...

As for the lights, Auto = FTW. But, even if you don't use Auto, same applies as do the wipers...

Its not a question of "need".... I didn't "need" a Lexus.

What I "want" is illuminated controls like I had in My Audi. (if it was a button switch or **** you as a driver needed to interact with, it was lit!---very sweet!)
If I can find a upper model Lex that a lit set can be snagged from, I would certainly look into it. Just don't know if they exist. Maybe the Toyota line?

You are thinking of the gas door release and trunk opener buttons; those are the ones that were upgraded to lighted buttons in '07.

Yeah I didn't read OP's post carefully enough. My bad.

But, since he has an 06 this will also be true
