Default Grille Question

I dont know how much replies ill get from this but its worth a shot. Anyone know if there are grilles that are interchangeable with the 2IS? like ES fit on IS and so forth? Just curious because some of the other models have nicer grilles.

I like that line of thought. But I don't know the answer.

Sadly this is true.

My concern would be the size, shape, or even the contours not matching enough. I could see a 80-90% fit happening. Personally, the slight mismatches would be enough for me to take it off and try something else if that were the case.

i want to jump off the deep end and and do it, but they cost quite a bit. i think im going to call my local junk yards and see if they have any lexus cars. maybe i can pick one up for cheap. if they do, im going to cop a few.

On another note, do you guys know if there are products out there that we can use to extend the grill? ie. split the grill in half and make extensions? Im going extreme because who knows when aftermarket parts will be available for the 09/10's.

Isn't the GS grill much wider than the IS?

that is straight smooth! I seen this but forgot how he did it. I would still need to buy another one because my L emblem is embedded into the grille.

Plus jnguyen who did the ISC front bumper swap said the sedan grille's are about 1/4 to 1/2 (size could be off with my memory) inch shy of fitting the outer surround.

If you find a good mesh material, please post.

BTW, I've seen your car at Samson's. Nice!
