If you order all weather floor mats from the dealer for an IS, do they have the Lexus emblem on them?
Glancing in the parts dept of the dealership, I saw the generic Weathertech ones hanging there, presumably with no emblem.

yes, and next to it, it says LEXUS IS. i just got mine today. They are hella thin and shorter.
Nice.. How much were they, $80-ish for a full set?
Typically I just get carpeted mats in a new car then replace with all weather a year or so down the road. Maybe I will buy these early and just swap them out early.

The old version has been discontinued and I don't even think you can buy the new version. Seems like the only people with the new version got them due to the recall.

80 bucks? Which dealership is selling that at that price?
I checked Sewell and it says discontinued; but the price shows $109
I did find another dealership that sells for $97.

Thanks for the photo! I'll have to get these for sure, assuming I can find them (hopefully dealer will have them). Generic Weathertech ones will never look as good, and the WT mats I had in my prior car did the job, but anyone with a discerning eye could tell although they fit, they were not specifically made for the car (they weren't the digitally cut variety that they sell for much more $$).
$80 seems like a lot but it's really not, that's probably about what my WT generics were for a full set back in 2003 or so.

For $100 you can get two front weather-tech floor liners and then just buy regular floor mats for the rear! Trust me, it's so worth it!

Weather Tech quality is great... thick and durable, and from what an earlier poster said the Lexus mats are probably not as good in terms of material.. Originally Posted by SPNinjA

I guess the light grey letters could potentially get grungy looking over time, but I still would like to get these. I'm going to ask about them at the dealer when I pick up my car. If it turns out I can't find them anywhere I will probably go Weather Tech again, once the time is right. I'm thinking the dealer must be able to get them, the website offers them as an option.

I'm just messing with you man. Every one has their own preference.

They are nice for sure, I will keep them in mind if I can't get the Lexus ones. I guess when it comes to car logos on mats I'm like the toddler that can't stay away from shiny objects Originally Posted by SPNinjA

Historically the reason carpet mats don't work for me, is that my last several cars had light colored interiors where the floor mat gets mucked up looking with pretty much the first rainstorm. This time I went all black interior, so we will see if that buys me a little more time (I doubt much).
I have made a commitment to keeping the dirt off the garage floor with a leaf blower (an area I've been kind of slack in the past), which should help with filthy floormat syndrome somewhat.
