Default New here!

Hello all. My name is Brett McCord and I have been lurking here for almost a year now before finally joining. I have decided to sell the M3 and pick up an 07+ 350. Just wanted to say hello and I look forward to picking everyone's brain and some point or another

Indeed. I have a checklist of the few 'must have' initial mods drawn from all the fantastic rides here.

Nah, surprisingly I am going to leave the suspension stock other than the Eibach springs.

Welcome to CL. I'd say skip the springs and go straight to coilovers. I made the mistake of making a pit stop for springs before I got my coils. I'm sure you will hear many people with the same story.

^ Hey, I have springs, and I haven't regretted them But that's because with the 100+ miles I put on my car everyday, it's not practical to put them on coilovers just to slam it.

But hell, what type of car modding IS practical? :P

Welcome Brett! Post some pictures of the M3 and the new 350 once you get things going. Glad you bought an IS350 instead of the 250... you'd be pretty upset about the performance change otherwise.

Thanks guys. I am going springs because it will be my daily driver. I have run coils in the past and I always had some sort of pops and boings pulling in and out of driveways. As far as some car pics...

I don't have a lot of current ones but here are a few

Waiting in line to race on Kansas Speedway

Year round daily driver...After a drive home in the winter on snow wheels/tires

Some euro lighting

ceramic clutch, drag radials and VHT....

And the pissed off weedeater...
