im sure this has been covered here before im new to this and a lexus just bought an 06 is 350 and everrking good except for the touch screen just wondering if i have and options other that the $4300 the the dealer told me any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance

 

try pulling the fuse or battery, or get a fly audio unit for 2g's

theres a few threads on this topic have you tried the search

 

if the screen is really bad and there is no other option other than replacing the unint, i would recommend checking out the fly audio unit. Will cost you around $2k for unit plus installation. Lots of benefits and features to the fly audio unit.

 

So far it seem this issue only affect the 06 models. Haven't heard any reports on the 07 and above.
