Default Found a Lexus but have a question

I came across a 2007 Lexus IS250 AWD Starfire Pearl/Black leather interior. Nav and everything. My question i have is i looked at the carfax and the car has been in two previous accidents. both the front end and the rear end were damaged. What should i do? I'm on the edge about it.

The answer is simple ..... just walk away. You don't need to be buying a car with two accidents. There are plenty of used IS' around, keep looking.

Does Carfax tell you the extent of the accidents? Also, what is the price of the car compared to book value? You always want to know what parts were replaced, or not replaced that should have been. I would avoid any car that has had radiator damage if it was not replaced with a brand new (not factory reconditioned) unit.

Based on 5mph crash testing, the front bumper can be over $4,000 in damage and the rear bumper over $2,000. I don't know your budget but I would weight heavily against this one unless you see a great reason to go with it.

If the price is right and you want to move forward, have a full check-up of the car done by a licensed mechanic.
