New DRL kit
I just seen that v-LEDs came out with a complete kit for drls on the isx50. Has anybody tried them yet bEcause I am about to order them =). It comes with 2 68 smt 9005 bulbs and it looks like two different wiring harness becAuse of the problems w flicker. Do u guys know if both have to e installed. Check them out =) http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...70276-1-2.html
One's a relay and ones the module. The relay goes into the fuse and you have to drill holes into the DRL covers to connect to eh LEDs. I bought the new DRL LEDS from them but returned it because I didn't want the hassle of drilling the hole.
From looking at the new kit provided in the link, it shows one HID relay and one module. So I think they are making it safer/longer lasting by only offering this option for the 68 smt led.
So it wouldn't kill me to not install the relay but if I chose to it would be the smarter option. I just don't want to drill holes into the covers lol and wouldn't that allow for moisture to get in as well?

I'm not sure about installing without the relay, I just gave up because I didn't want to drill holes. I was emailing customer support form VLEDs for a couple days. I have holes in my low beams for aftermarket HIDs but it was worth it for functional lights. I did get moisture buildup so I used duct tape to seal the rubber grommet aroudn the hole. No moisture for half a year so far...
I believe they do have yellow DRLs. I've seen them around CL

Also if installed to harness and not the relay then i shouldnt get flicker..right?
I purchased the V-LEDS 6K HID WHITE 28 LED pair and I had the previous model 9005 LED DRL bulb which is definitely dimmer than the new ones.
