i am just wondering when u put in sports mode and u go fast and u hit the red line and then u switch gear but u hear the popping noise did anyone did this and i heard this is bad for the car i did it once and i got scared ty..

Probably shifted too late, I think it should be fine but don't keep doing it. There's a rev limiter.
