Aux feature?
I never had this on my old car, whats the deal with it? Can I plug my ipod into it? If so do I need some kind of adapter that will plug into the ipod and then into the aux jack? Where can I get one? Thanks
Yes, get a male-to-male 3.5mm cord to connect your iPod to your car - they're sold everywhere: Target, Walmart, Radioshack, etc. When plugged in, you can only control the volume with your car's steering wheel control and dash buttons. To skip songs you must do that on the iPod itself. If you want steering wheel control and OEM head unit integration, you'll need an iPod integration kit like the one offered by VaisTech.

Or much better, go on ebay and get a dock connector to 3.5mm plug.
The audio coming out of the dock connector is considerably better than the audio from the headphone jack.
Or for a bit more you can buy a car kit that both gives you a dock connector and charges the ipod. (these are still 5-10 times cheaper than the full integration kits)
there are a couple downsides to the aux:
1. it won't charge your Ipod
2. you can not control your Ipod on your unit. if you have navi in your car, it's worth it to install the ipod adaptor. It give your full access to your ipod from the navi unit. I got mine done for $200
