i have pilkington for a few months now and havent had any problems with it. Probly its the person installing it for you

I got a new windshield paid for by the dealer since when they replaced my cracking window trim, they pryed it with a screwdriver and chipped. I've never had a problem with the new windshield yet but it is OEM since they broke it lol.

I have one of this crap Pilkington windshields. The wind noise is horrible. The rear view mirror fell off. The installer knew of this issue with this type of windshield so he scrapped the black paint of the windshield and glued it on. Never fell of since. I still am waiting for a rock to hit this windshield....next one will be OEM!!!
