Default 400 RXH 2007 Windshield cracking issues

I bought my car brand new, and I do love it... It doesn't even have a door ding... however, I have had to have my windshield replaced 6 times for various reasons. (see below)
I came out one morning recently to find my windshield cracked yet again, barely a year after the last replacement, and Lexus has determined that it cracked from the inside because somebody adjusted the mirror too "forcefully", supposedly. They asked if I had young children who maybe hung off it. I do not. Nobody has HUNG off it. It has been moved normally.
The mirror is somewhat stiff, as usual, so I don't understand how it can be our fault for normal movement.
Lexus has offered to replace it for a small fee, but to be honest, I am very annoyed at having to replace it at my cost at all, seeing as it will be the SEVENTH windshield that has been put on this car. (The previous ones were because 1. Came out to a covered garage (while on my vacation!) to find my windshield cracked, same place as this. 2. First windshield that was brought was the wrong one. 3. Second one they brought cracked as they installed. 4. 4th one they brought they installed, but it leaked so had to be replaced once I got back from my vacation. 5. Cracked in the same place and was replaced. 6. Last year lexus was changing my wipers and accidental cracked my windshield, which they replaced at their cost, as they were the ones that broke it.

Has anybody else had problems with this?

I wonder if something is out of spec with the windshield frame and is causing added stress to the glass when installed. The installer may not have completely removed all of the original adhesive and this could cause added stress on the glass. Were the replacement windshields factory OEM or aftermarket glass? I'd probably document this repetitive issue and send a letter to Lexus corporate, and cc: the dealer, asking for help resolving this issue. Keep in mind that your windshield is part of your car's safety equipment. The glass isn't there just to keep the rain and bugs from hitting you in the face but adds up to 60 % of the roof strength in a rollover as well as serving as the backing plate in case of an airbag deployment.

According to the installer, he did a bang up job. Also, I have only had Lexus authorized people work on the car. When I was on Vacation it was done (3 times!) in Florida, by two different people, and here in Toronto by Lexus.
Lexus has offered to do the windshield for me for $200, which I suppose is fair, but when you consider how many times this has happened.... and WHY they claim it has happened, I am irritated at having to pay anything, you know?
