I bought a 2006 IS350 about 2 weeks ago and I have already replaced the tires, tinted the windows, bought and hardwired a 9500ix, put on a trunk spoiler and I just got finished painting the calipers/replacing pads with the low dust ones! Now I can't get intakes and exhausts out of my head. I just want a little more sound when flooring it. Any cheap ideas? JoeZ?
Also, this was my first brake job ever. Thanks to the DIY it was pretty straight forward. Thanks! (the last time I even changed the oil in a car was 20yrs ago!)
One question though, since it was my first time replacing pads, how do I know if I sqrewed up? I took it for a nice drive and there was no sound, vibration but the brakes do feel a little softer (the no dust pads?). It seems I can push the pedal in further.
The car came with some curb rub. Whats a good way to fix, cover, or dull the curb rash? (factory 18 alloys)
Dude the addiction will only get stronger until you give up & just save for n "F"..Well thats what i am doing...So in the mean time i am just beating the crap out of my IS350 until next year, Then it's "F" time.
