Default Came back from the Dealership

Got my car serviced today.

Got my brakes changed to the dust-less pads
(Did feel a like different, nothing to big tho)

Brakes were squeaking really bad.
So they changed my fit kit and shim pads and than resurfaced my rotors for free.

Got my gas pedal changed to the new redesign one.

They gave me a car wash that i didnt really wanted.
When i got home, i found out that they ripped my windshield side molding off.

I called them back and they told me they didnt see it there in the first place. But i told them before I hand over the keys, it was still there.

Now i have to buy new ones and figure a way to remove the broken clips in the molding slot. This sucks, I just got the car last week too.

You swapped for "brake-less pads?" Sounds like a bad idea. I'm assuming you meant the anti-brake dust pads.

Thats why they call them stealerships.

But on a serious note, if you had them when you left it with them, you should have them replace it. What if it was something more serious? Its the principle of it. They need to make it right to show the customer that they are reliable and are there to help the customer, not take your money then jack you around.

When u dropped your car off did they do that walkaround inspection and mark the damage? If they didn't document then you win .Contact Lexus Customer relations.

when the service advisor took you car in, did he note down if the clip was missing?
and you may need to do the walkaround next time;

what the difference with the new brake design? Btw whenever I go to the dealership I have a big statement to them not to wash the car. One time they forgot and they paniced a bit and ran to the place where they were about to wash it.

when i went on friday, they said they just recieved the recall notice, so they installed a new pedal and reprogrammed the ecu. Plus they fill up your tank, so dont go until you're almost out of gas.

they dont have the new all weather floor mats yet, they said they would recieve the new design in a couple of weeks.

^ I wouldn't count on the dealership filling up your gas tank. Mine sure doesn't.

and the new brakes are suppose to give off less dust than the ones we have on the car. The car comes with high friction performance brake pads, and you can change them to the dust less pads, but you do lose braking power, it feels different.
