Hi, I'm a new owner have have a couple of questions-

- review mirror shakes- I'm out of warranty (I do have the lexus prem until 100k- think it would be covered?). If not any DIY fixes?

-spoiler mount of oem type- I don't want to drill- all posts refer to 3m tape- I can't find wide double side tape- only 3/4" wide- any ideas or pics of install?

Dumb question- do you always use parking brake or only on inclines? I always do a couple people have given me crap

I am about to try the 9500ix mirror hardwire

For the rearview mirror... just ask and im sure they will do it for you.

Spoiler - get the red/gray double sided tape. Not the foamy white stuff.... I think 99% of us use tape instead of drilling

I always use the parking brake - less stress on the transmission

1. the lexus platinum warranty should cover the rear view mirror shaking problem. go to the dealership and ask to have it replaced.
2. you can use the 3m double sided heavy duty tape to install the oem spoiler. you can find it at home depot. its red, but the tape is dark grey. you can do a search, ive seen people write about this process.
3. I always use my parking brake. its a psychological thing for me. i almost failed my driving test cause i forgot to use my parking brake at the end of my test. now I use the parking brake every single time. damn you guys at DMV!

Welcome! You can find the 3M tape at Walmart for like $3-4. That's where I get my 3M tape.

 

hang something off your rearview if you don't have warranty. like a fusa!!
