how much do u guys/gals in the USA pay for custom plates??

here in australia, its pretty expensive and theres a yearly payment aswell

i was thinking of getting 1SICIS (i saw someone in CL with it)

but im paranoid that people will do something to my car, and that it'd be easier to remember my plates if someone ones to report me, not that i do anything illegal. :P

 

^its anywhere from $50-$80 depending on which organization you get the plate from, a percentage goes to it I believe. Annual renewal fees apply as well which is about $30-$45. This is in California, I'm not sure about other states.
