Default TPMS and Rim Help

hi guys,

i just picked up a set of rims but am now looking for an extra set of TPMS for them. my is350 is a pre-april 06 production so i'm assuming the part number is
Toyota P/N 42607-30030 have an FCC # of PAXPMV1017 and IC # 3729APMV1017

i know the post-april 06 part number is
Toyota P/N 42607-33021 have a FCC # of PAXPMV107J and IC # 3729APMV107J

i've heard that you can use the either part number if you have a pre-april 06 production isx50. Can anyone confirm this? also would these work in the link below from ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-NEW...Q5fAccessories

thanks in advance guys, i did a lot of searching but just didn't get a clear cut answer.

To my understanding...

Lexus Part #42607-33021 will only work on 2006 models as long as the car was manufactured AFTER April 2006.

I could be wrong as I am not 100% sure...

My car shows a manufacturer date of april 2006, so does that mean I need the part # after apr 06. Thanks.

If you have a pre-April 2006 car, you can use either set. I have a pre-April 2006 car and I've personally used both part #'s on my car. I've also been informed that either set will work with the post-April 2006 cars, but I can't personally verify that.

If you have an April 06 car, you'll use the post-April 2006 TPMS part number. The post-April 06 part number includes April of 2006.

Has anyon else with a pre-April car tried using the newer sensors? I can't find a good price on the older ones, but lots of deals on the newer ones.

Wouldn't mind finding this out myself. When I moved to Cali, left my stocks back home. Been riding with the warning light. Honestly, I want to fix this already, getting tired of it.

Thanks! I'm going to try out the new ones on a Feb 06 IS250.

Newer ones are under $100 for 4 (new) on eBay, nearly double the price or more for the older ones.

Yeah, I remember you from when I first joined these forums back in 06. Haven't been into the modding until last week again. Got into a minor fender bender and now, I'm going beyond just repairs lol. By the way how's the black outs working with your lights? Any noticeable difference with the black rather than the stock chrome?
