Today, I decided to clean my K&N filter. So I went to Autozone and purchased the Cleaner and then I went home to do the cleaning. Upon taking the engine cover off, I had to remove all of the little clips that hold the plastic together. Well, whenever I did, I kinda lost about six of them in the process. So I thought it wouldn't be a big deal to get some more at the dealership whenever I finished. Upon arriving at the dealership, I asked the Guy in the parts department that I needed some clips for my engine covers, he then said "sure, I know exactly what your talking about, that will be $2.07 per clip". WHAT???? $2.07 for a tiny plastic clip???? This is insane!!! And the worst thing about it, is that I bought the damn car at that EXACT dealership and they wouldn't even give me some damn plastic clips....:-/// Does anyone know where I can get some of those clips? I searched Ebay, but found nothing.....

You can use any clip with the same diameter and length. R&S, Autozone, whatever. It may not be a push button.

You don't even need the clips to be honest. The two side engine covers will fasten with the screw on the interior sides of the covers, and the front cover you can simply lay down over the other two. Unless you plan on driving around with your hood up, there's no need to use the clips. I took the clips off and have been driving without the plastic engine cover clips for over a year now. Makes doing anything in the engine bay MUCH faster.

LMFAO!! 2 bucks for a little clip is a bit steep for anyone in my opinion. 86 cents is MUCH better. Thanks PEARLIS250 and Frosty250 for the info. And im working on that upgrade.

hahaha, I just didn't expect them to be THAT much, and I really didn't think they would charge me for it, they probably have a bunch just laying around on their service floors, but O well. Like Javy said, I don't need them anyways.
