Default Volt Hids flickering leads to dead battery?

Situation:

At 9:30, leaves car on street with head lights ON, they shut off automatically. 12:00 I come back and notice my headlights flickering like crazy. Car wont start, radio, needle sweep, volume, interior lights all function like normal, BUT but Volt HID bulbs are flickering like crazy, left bulb didnt even come on.

Opened hood and saw that battery is all good, BLUE indication but when I tried starting it I heard the Tick Tick Tick like its a dead battery. Friend comes and jumps the car. Everything works BUT CHECK VSC comes on. Drive the car home started it a few times, check HID connection and everything is fine. Everything works.

Questions:

So it has got to be the HID connection that cause this ignition failure. This has never happened to me before. At night I leave my headlights on and they turn off automatically but tonight I dont know what went wrong.

The check vsc light is on, will it go away or can this be another problem? I dont think it is as the HIDs should have caused this problem.

The HIDs are Volt 6000k that I got from Steve the vendor on CL.

I have the Volt 6000k kit on my fogs and have noticed that my drivers side one always flickers when I turn the car on...I have brought this up to Steve before and have never got it fixed and have learned to live with it.

Hmm...strange I've had my Volt Hids for almost a year and they do not flicker at all. This is the first time I seen such flickering.

I hope the VSC light will go away as my car went out of warranty in october and I do not want to have it checked and pay $120 at Lexus just to read it. I'll wait a week to see if it goes away and if it doesnt ill take it to autozone to have ti checked first.
