Looks totaled to me. An Adjuster should look at the car. But I dont know how state farms does it.

thats how state farm works. Its pretty sweet actually, cause the body shop and State Farm have this deal. State farm basically does whatever the preferred body shop recommends.

For instance, when my g35 was wrecked, I happened to have a good relationship with my body shop guy and he suggested that they total the car even though TECHNICALLY the damage put it 500 under the limit.

State farm listened and I was able to get out from under that loan and into my is350

Looks like a terrible accident. Glad to see that you're ok. How was the other driver, any injuries?

Any damage to the engine? Hopefully the issue will be resolved ASAP. Good luck.

Ouch! Glad you're OK though.

You should HOPE that car is totaled. I know I would not want to drive that around after being repaired...

As for the question about your insurance, I don't have State Farm, but I know a lot of times a company's adjusters don't come out as long as they have a good relationship with the company doing the repairs. I know AAA, USAA, Farmers, done ALWAYS need to have someone actually see the damage.

Who was deemed at fault for the accident? If your company goes after the other driver's insurance company then a rep from his company may come out to look at it though.

Airbags went out and the frame looks bent cause the front doors don't open all the way.

What you guys think?

Also my state farm insurance company is just bring it a lexus body shop to get an estimate. They said the body shop will handle everything without having a state farm agent look at the car. Does that sound right or should an agent go look at the car first before it is sent to the lexus body shop.
That doesn't look like a redlight accident and more like a head-on direct hit into something.
