Love em'? Hate em'?

Where do you get em'? Are they universal or car specific?

Usually only track cars sports them, if you don't track the car and sport them then it would look tacky to be honest

Also reading the Lotus forums, usually the tow how is attached to a structural component of the car, thus a minor fender bender that usually scratches or breaks the bumper, might bend either the frame or the bumper support and it gets costly.

You can find tow hooks anywhere that sells other ricer goodies You only need to know the OEM's tow thread pitch and thread length and any aftermarket similar ones can be screwed right in.

If you want it to be real cool (rice), get a rear defuser and then get a chassis tow hook and screw it in on the bottom so now it looks race legit

I don't think you can put a tow hook on the front bumper of our IS. If I recall correctly, only the rear bumper has tow hook connection.

Anyway, I have 2 tow hooks (red and blue) from my previous track car. If you are interested, I'll sell to you. The red tow hook has some scratches, and the blue tow hook is brand new - never used.

My friend has one on his 350z. He keeps tell me to put mines on. I told him no, the less things hanging from the front of the car, the cleaner looking it is.

I want to add that everyone should be sure to keep a plastic pry tool in their vehicle for if they ever need to put in their tow hook. The last thing you want is the tow truck driver sticking a screwdriver into your bumper to pry the tow hook cover out.

there is actually a spot in the front bumper made for the tow hook so i dont know what you're talking about
plus how easy is it to steal a screw in tow hook(i believe you can just use your hand to screw it in) and a lexus x50 is completely two different topic
