Hahah yeah our 2IS can't fit wheels as aggressive like Z's and G37's
I would like to run that but the thing is my car is awd so i must go with 275/30
i've already pulled the trigger on a set of TE37's....
now I'll just need to wait till the winter is over.....

 

Ooooo. You mean your fender liner was "gone" from these wheels? Or already gone from previous wheels?

Now I'm pretty confident these will work..........maybe run 225/35R19 to be sure? probably a little too much stretch for my taste tho

I want 1 finger gap or 1 1/2. Not to crazy. I don't want to do any fender modifications. IS350 AWD

 

Ask Reyoasian, and he'll tell you the difficulties of maintaining a 1 - 1.5 finger gap on a AWD platform. Also, your wheels are relatively conservative (a good thing) and you'll be fine with a mild stretch on the tires.

 

Difficulties of maintaining? Is it to low for AWD? I've done research about the CV boot tearing and I want to avoid that.

Yes way. That's the exact setup a CL member, itzheiu?, is running with the exception of running +12. He's +15, but same diameter and width. Ask him and you should get a definite answer.

 

I'm trying to figure out if Work VS-XX sized:

19x10 et26 at the front
19x10 et23 at the rear

Will fit my ISF (not sure if offsets and backspacing are the same for the isx50s)

fitment specs are different for ISx50 and IS-F's.

my best guess is that those specs will require fender modifications and moderate tire stretching.

 

Hi everyone,

I've got some ok looking 19's from my recently sold TSX which I'm looking to put onto my 08 IS250 RWD (since I have them laying around). Problem is they're not staggered.... 19x8.5 +35 (225/35/19 tyres on 2)

I believe the fronts will be fit quite nicely (with 225/35), but the rears won't be aesthetically pleasing. Looking to run a spacer & a 245/35/19 or 255/35/19 rear tyres to give it a fatter (grip style) rear appearance & add a spacer.

Car will only be dropped to approx one finger gap all round (undecided on springs or coilovers) as it's a daily driver & I'm not looking to do more than a simple guard roll (bit of minor shaving ok). Don't want any rubbing, except for maybe the odd event when I have a 3 rear passengers & a loaded boot.

With this in mind, would a 15mm spacer be ideal? Or should I go for a 20mm or even 25mm rear spacer?
Any proven/recommended spacers?

There`s a set of bbs lm here locally but it`s coming off a m3, will this fit on my 2006 lexus is350 with sport package.

19" BBS LM in Diamond Silver in 19x10 +25 / 19x11 +25, 5x120 fitment

 

i wouldn't consider spacers in the rear.

1. the sidewalls for a 245 or 255 will be upright on a 8.5"-wide wheel.
2. to run spacers to effectively reduce the offset of the wheels, you'll need to run stretched tires. on a 8.5"-wide wheel, you'll need run at least 215 for starters.

i would recommend starting with the standard +1 sizing for the 2is: 225/35-19 + 255/35-19.

if you really want to run spacers, 5mm is about it until you have to modify the fenders for tire clearance.

those will not fit.

1. ISx50's run 5x114.3, so those won't bolt up without adapters.
2. even if they could bolt up, you'll need to run stretched tires due to the widths and aggressive offsets.

look elsewhere for something that actually fits.
