Hey guys, I'm not a pro when it comes to rims (but i know many here are) i was wondering if these rims will fit 19" 8.5 +25 and 19" 9.5" +25..and if yes, will i rub? i'm dropped on tein-S-tech.

Thanks!

Ive been good with the modding lately so its time to get back on track.
Trying to order some enkei nt03 right now.

18x8.5 +38
18x9.5 +27

For the front,

Looks like I will be fine up front on the rims(correct me if wrong please!), wondering..

1.If tire size 235/40/18 would be too meaty?

For the rear,

1.Will stock 255/40/18 tires be fine?
2.Will I need to roll the rear fender regardless of tire size?

hey guys i have a set of staggered wheel
19x9 +38 front 19x10 +38
if i want to go for 255/35R19 front and 275/35R19 rear
I know i might need some fender mods. How serious will it be?
I personally don't like stretched tire. So I go for this route on my setup.
Thanks

Default 255/30's too meaty up front?

Hi All, new member and just got my new 2011 IS 350 AWD last month. Love it...except the ride hight and the 17" wheels.

Thinking of getting either an Eibach or F-sport spring set to lower the ride height and am looking at getting some Linea Corse 818s 19" x 8.5"w.

I have seen a lot of discussion on this forum on what tires to get for a staggered set-up but not much on non-staggered. Other than looks, I don't see the point in running a non-staggered set-up on an AWD system designed for non-staggered. just my opinion...

So question is what is the ideal set-up for AWD non staggered if one wants to put on 19"?

1010 tire calc. says the closest diameter to the stock 225/45/17s are

- 255/30R19 (.02% diff) or a 255/35R18 (.02 diff). but 255 is pretty thick...Would the tires be too meaty upfront? will I be getting rub? Thinking of getting the 8.5" wide rims.

Second best would be 245/30R19 at .77% diff...

thoughts, comments would be greatly appreciated

I need help pls: I had an Ichiba 10mm spacers in the back with the provided extended studs, my question is, would I be ok with 15mm spacers using the studs that came with the 10mm's? I had 6-7 turns when tightening the lug nuts,is that safe enough? TIA

might help if you post offsets, but with those tire sizes you're going to need to roll/shave your fenders.

even then, the front MIGHT fit, while the rears MIGHT not.

since that width and offset are similar to the oem 17" width/offset (8.5 +43 vs. 8 +45), you should not have to do any fender work.

if you're looking for max clearance, go with 225/35-19.

if you're need more treadwidth, go with 235/35-19.
