Default Keys Stolen :(

My keys were stolen while I was at the gym tonight. Luckily my car was still in the parking lot after I found out they were missing. My question is can I get the computer in the car changed so that it will not recognize the old keys? I'm really paranoid that my car will be stolen now... I did a really quick search and I know you can reprogram keys but not sure if you can reprogram the car. My apologies if this question has already been answered. Thanks in advance!

Hopefully someone just picked them up by accident without the intent to steal

Yes. It should cost around $100-200 for your dealership to do it, and even that is overcharging. They will wipe the keys from memory, and then re-associate them.

Kind of like a garage door opener.

Also, if only 1 key was stolen, you only need 1 new key. They are seperate, meaning it can be re-associated once the memory is wiped.

You might want to change your locks, they can still open your car unless you change your locks.
